Who are you? What interests you in AI, autonomous systems, or robotics? If you aren’t sure about your interests, what made you decide to take this class and what do you hope to gain?
Hello there! My name is Eren. I am a Turkish Computer Science student. I am a junior. I love traveling and playing my musical instruments aside from software development. What interests me in AI is all of the possibilities that come with this new available technology. It is a very interesting concept. It became more prevalent in our daily lives with the famous ChatGPT. When I researched and studied AI more, I learned more about its history and the logic behind it, and believe it or not, it fascinated me. After that, I decided to take this class to explore the real-life applications of AI and robotics. It was very fun to build the robot we will be using in the class. I am very interested in all of the algorithms we will be implementing in the robot to make it accomplish different goals such as maze solving or image recognition. I am hoping to gain a deeper understanding of different algorithms through real-life applications in robotics. Looking forward to this semester!!!
